Wisconsin Voters May Weaken Their Constitutional Right to Bail
My latest in the Brennan Center's State Court Report
On Friday, the Brennan Center’s State Court Report published an essay I wrote on two constitutional amendments being voted on in Wisconsin this April that would further restrict access to bail—and increase the legislature’s power to regulate it more carefully. Rather than publish a different essay this week, I’ll instead send this piece out—and strongly encourage you to subscribe to the State Court Report, which is doing excellent work in highlighting important topics of state constitutional law.
Feel free to read the piece here.
Next week, I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled programming with a new piece.
